The Greater Victoria Social Gathering Place is a non-profit that offers low-barrier social opportunities for people in mental health recovery. They’re guided by an advisory committee of people with lived experience who believe that recovery is possible for everyone and that social connection and community support are essential components of the recovery process.

Pathways is a community service directory that provides local, comprehensive and up-to-date information about MHSU services including information about how to access the service and any referrals needed. It is currently used by 80% of the MDs on the South Island and has listings from over 136 MHSU organizations.

FOM Music Society known colloquially as "Friends of Music" offers musical opportunities for people recovering from mental illness. They offer a diverse array of music programs that cater to people of all skill levels, including music lessons for beginners. No referral is necessary. Memberships are just $10 annually, for unlimited access to their programs.
